    IRADV C2225

Having a very intermittent problem with an IRADV C2225. I have yet to be able to get the machine to

do what the customer says it does. They will copy 2 pages through the DADF and they say the first

page goes through, the second page pauses briefly then goes through. The copier puts out pages like

the one I attached. I cleared RCON and lubed the scanner rails. I also did the tray adust for the DF due

to it seeing pages fed letter R direction as 11 x 17. Has anyone seen anything like this?

Make sure the two paper length detection sensor flags are not stuck down in the feeder tray frame.
This will make the feeder assume that all pages fed are long sheets regardless of its actual size.
This will cause the blank image on LTR size paper only.
If this the case, try popping the two sensor flags back up and freeing them from under the tray .

I would replace the DF feed & sep rollers & update the system software.

Could be either of those, fw issue of DF multi sheet feeding.

And make sure that they are not sitting documents at the end of the tray. Customers will do that and you get the situation that teckat mentioned. If they seem "lazy or flaky", a tiny blob from a hot glue stick on the end of the lever inside can tweak their sensitivity. Had to do this on Ir3300s sometimes...lol. And yes..replace the paper pickup roll assembly(not just the rolls) and put in a A719 sep pad
