    IRA-8095 FM30 location

    Copier has an E820-0000 code for the developer lower cooling fan FM30. I ordered the fan, went to install it and can't locate it's placement. The service manual location pic makes it look like it's located at the front right corner of the machine. I pulled some panels off and looked around but don't see it. Anyone know where it's at?

      remove the upper right side panel

          I might be wrong but there are fans right hand side when you open the front door of the copier, I replaced a hopper once and left that connector off, it threw a fan error, but due to old age don't remember what code.

              I just pulled the laser on another customer's 8585 (basically the same machine) and didn't see any fans in there. I'm heading back out today and I'll double check.

                      Turns out it was one of three fans that are hidden inside the filter box that you swing out of the way to get to the corona/drum area behind the front door.
