Canon ir2525 stains when duplexing LGL from bypass

Seems to me that the transfer roller stains the second side, strange thing is that when you duplex from the cassettes everything's fine
I ran a trasnfer cleaning routine but lasts only for one copy and the subsequent are the same, customer is annoyed (as always happens)
she says it didn't happen before (my service) I only serviced the fuser unit and vacummed the machine, toner is not OEM BUT why it doesn't happen in cassette
processed copies?, I'm not used to "CLR ALL" solutions (old school tech) because I know you can mar everything if you don't know exactly what you do, but I'm tempted to do so this time.

Background, half copy from top to bottom. LGL LTR whatever you run from the bypass, weird thing is that it works fine from the cassettes.
I cleaned the whole thing again but nothing looks out of the ordinary, I entered svc mode and changed dip swich for altitude compensation and still the same, this adjustment works incredible for samsungs here, but nothing happened with this one. still wondering I have a lot of things to do in the shop (one man band) and time is limited to about half an hour for this machine.

For what it is worth, I had a strange dark background using the bypass only on this same device, cassettes were fine. The front door spring had become detached and was messing with the laser shutter. Had no Idea the two were related, was about to start troubleshooting and figured I would re-attach the spring while thinking about the print q issue and turned out they were cause and effect.

I was about to dump all the toner, clean the whole mess (pipes, etc) and try a new one (my $), hate to have to do that in order to try to fix it and keep the customer, but I'll try this one you suggest first. I'll keep you informed thanks.

Are you using genuine Canon toner?
