Enter Service Mode and navigate to:

    COPIER > OPTION > DSPLY-SW > Level 2 >< T-CRG-SW> Set to "1"

    Power Cycle the imageRUNNER

Now enter Settings / Registration > Adjustment / Maintenance > Maintenance >< Replace Specified Toner >

Follow the on-screen instructions and open the main toner cover.
Select the [Replacement Needed] tab, and select [Replace. not needed] tab.
Now all the color toners will be displayed.
Select the color of the toner to open it's cover.
Now the [Remove Toner Cartridge] tab will be enabled. Select the Remove Toner Cartridge tab.
The message [The selected toner still can be used. Do you want to replace it] select YES.

    * The Toner Cover will now open and the toner cartridge can be removed. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the cartridge. *

***** Do not replace toner cartridges until the message prompting you to do so appears.

Or an even easier way, slide a credit card inbetween the doors this pushes the latch they will pop open!

YES - Thanks for this - I have a number of IRc5560i's at an account where we need to come on site to replace toner. the procedure with a card in the upper RH corner of the door does pop it open.
On this model I needed to reboot afterwards to get the toner chip to recognize the new toner - BIG time saver when at a unit and it is down to 10%

Why would you replace toner that is at 10%...you are throwing money away. Also there is new firmware because some toners are sent that are chipless because of the chip shortage.
