Re: Canon IR3180ci Blank Pages?
Only recent error code was E0732 that was related to paper pickup rollers on cassette one that were worn down and not picking up, new ones fitted and seemed to sort it, but nothing related to this blank page problem. The machine has recently had both cyan and magenta dev units replaced and weirdly since then has made an audible beep? when printing, but has printed ok.This was a couple of weeks ago but now is printing only blank pages, there was no audible beep on the old dev units?.Comment

Re: Canon IR3180ci Blank Pages?
No,
The previous latent image on the drum is removed and the drum is conditioned for the new latent image. ... As the drum turns, an invisible latent image is created on the drum.
Simple troubleshooting , if u get patches formed on ITB, and they don't transfer to Paper, U need to look at your secondary transfer roller operation.
Forming of the Patches or images from Printing or Copying on ITB prevents Error Codes.
If nothing was being seen by patch sensor u would get development error codes.**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**Comment

Re: Canon IR3180ci Blank Pages?
There is a copier charge contact that needs to make good contact with the secondary transfer roller, check both these contacts.
Replace the ITB if in doubt, especially if it has done over 300k.Let us eat, drink, and be merry, because tomorrow we may die!

Error code E0732 has nothing to do with paper feed.

Re: Canon IR3180ci Blank Pages?
Thanks for responses, no i'm not a tech so forgive me if i get any of this wrong, would a second transfer issue prevent prints/copies (inc internal prints) from being formed on itb as i get nothing this way?,have also tried from pc but nothing,i can understand a transfer issue if images are on itb.

Re: Canon IR3180ci Blank Pages?
The fact that you can see the patches formed on the ITB but not when you print? Try a PG10 test print run stop the machine mid run (open the RHD) are you SURE there is no image on the belt?Let us eat, drink, and be merry, because tomorrow we may die!
