    DHCP turning ON

Is it possible for a DHCP to turn ON by itself????? I have a customer who swears they are not turning on the DHCP, but everytime they call to complain the copier isn't receiving prints, the tech finds that the DHCP is ON. This has happened 3 times now. I don't want to call them liars but I have a hard time believing this. By chance has anyone else seen this happen? This is an Advance C2020 copier with 227k on it.

Are you losing all your network settings? DHCP is one of the defaults, and I have seen a couple of machines that dumped all their network settings.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
