Canon IRA C2225 Blank Streak on Copies/Prints

Hi Guys,
Customer has blank streaks on a Canon IRA C2225 no matter if it is from printing from the computer OR making a manual copy from the doc. feeder.
I posted this problem earlier, but I would like to know if anyone has any new ideas...the last machine that had this problem I had to replace because I couldn't fi it. (now same problem on this one!)
Annnd! This machine only has 6,333 prints/copies total!

Did you clean the laser glass. There is a procedure for that, not sure of the specifics.

Service Mode: COPIER > FUNCTION > MISC-P > SHT-OPEN
Pull out the Drum Unit
Remove the Dustproof Glass cleaning tool from the Front Cover
Insert the Dustproof Glass cleaning tool into the groove, and clean the Dustproof Glass

Service Mode: COPIER > FUNCTION > MISC-P > SHT-OPEN
Pull out the Drum Unit

Insert the Dustproof Glass cleaning tool into the groove, and clean the Dustproof Glass

I've done this procedure, but I've found it's MUCH easier to just remove the left cover, take the laser unit out of the machine, and clean it that way. Plus it'll give you a chance to see if one of the developer units is dumping toner on top of the laser.

Not a fan of how Canon designed the laser cleaning procedure on this model. It's much easier to do on the Adv 5000/5200 series machines.

Advantage of this way of cleaning is you can clean the whole laserunit, not just the glass. It seems the whole unit is covered in toner from time to time...
Sometimes the mylars inside are dirty to...

If cleaning the laser glass does not help you only have one option replace the black drum.
Awful machine.
