Looking for the latest firmware for a Canon ADV iR4045, the machine has 13.01 and I know there is a newer one. 30.01.03 ?

Yes the latest version is 30.01.05 (see attached)

If the machine is networked, you should be able to update the firmware using Service Mode.

Will have to try that, never did it that way so how do you exactly do it. Can't right now as the customer turned the machine off just as I was gaining access to it. Will have to try in the morning.

Enter Service Mode, and right on the first page there's a button labelled "Updater". Press that, then press the button labelled "Update Firmware". Follow through with the steps for immediate installation... unless you want to try downloading the file to the machine, then scheduling the installation for later in the day when nobody's in the office.

The machine MUST STAY POWERED ON for the installation of firmware!! If it reboots itself, that's fine...but if it's shut off during the installation process, you could have a very expensive brick on your hands.
