[Error Code] Canon iR ADV C5255 - Error E075-103

Hi. I have a problem with a Canon machine iR ADV C5255 (Error E075-103 FULL DISPLACEMENT OF ITB).

What I have done:
1.- I had checked the level and the machine is intalled on the level.
2.- I had replace the ITB unit (FM0-1765-020). The ITB UNIT is new.

After replacing the new ITB unit, the machine worked fine for one month (8.000 pages), but the error E075-103 ocurred again.

When I perform the ITB-INIT the result is NG. Error E075-103. If I place the belt in the original position, after 40 copies the error is displayed.

I have no idea about this problem, the service manual says that replacing the ITB UNIT must solve the problem but it does not.

Could any please help me with this problem? or any ideas?

Seen this issue so many times now.

First update the firmware & If you have fitted a new ITB unit complete with belt & cleaning unit.

Try this adjustment (red screw) bracket is behind left cover, remove finisher if you have one, then run ITB-INIT again until you get between -300 - +300 close to zero is ideal.

Kind of an odd one to just throw out there. Is there any road construction near by, or floor vibration? Like I said this is to eliminate. We had a few machines that where throwing E075 codes. When we would visit the engine the ITB tracking value was near perfect and we could not duplicate. After a day or two code would return. Turned out, the jack hammer use near the building was actually causing the tracking to go off. We temporarily relocated the machine and the problem was solved. So damn wierd!

The transfer belt tracking can be somewhat 'temperamental'.

Normally it can be fixed by adjusting the ITB motor position up or down a notch -or- lowing one or more floor support feet which slightly alters the machines frame position.

Combine that with running a bunch of ITB-INIT rotational checks to see if you have stable belt positioning.
Any reading that constantly floats around from 0-200 is pretty good.
If it keeps drifting higher than 200 on each consecutive run then it's not stable and will likely run off the front or rear roller edge.

Actually there is a construction near by. I did not relocated the machine yet. I am going to try that. Thank you.

I think that the problem is not the ITB unit, beacuse is a new one. But when I perform the INB-INT the result is always NG.

Not necessarily.

Canon's default position for the ITB motor may not be optimal.
Every machines frame and positioning is slightly different.
I've swapped ITB units out of working machines and put them in other machines as a short term loan and they have gone straight off the front or rear and thrown a E075-XXX error.

Did I mention that they can be temperamental?
