IPF 670 force print with empty (BK) toner

Like the title says, on my Canon IPF 670 plotter, all toners are full except regular black (BK).

Both MBK are full as well.

I have to wait 4 weeks until i get regular black delivered, is there a way to force print without regular black one?

    Thanks in advance.

It still won't print anything with an empty black. Go to the store and pay a little more for an ink cartridge today. And don't use the knockoffs. You won't save all that much money when you have to call for service for the "... filling ink ... " messages, repeatedly, and it's dumping all the generic ink into the maintenance cartridge. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

so epson has canon beat.. if the BK goes out in an epson T series.. all you have to do is change the setting and it will use MK/PK instead!

Actually I managed to print in greyscale.

If you read first post properly, you'd realize that I already bought the toners, but it takes 4 weeks for them to arrive cuz yeah, Canon Europe distribution.

          Thanks for trying, cheers.

I am sorry to say that you cannot do anything about this. These Canon iPFs make up 90% of my business and I have been asked this exact questions many times. Running out of any particular color will lock up the printer like a fatal error until you replace it. Also, I don't know if you are using generic inks or not but if you are I highly recommend getting back to the OEM. I don't know how the machine knows you're not using OEM but it knows. There is even a section in Service Mode called Counter that can show you how much OEM and how much Generic ink you have used independently. Further more I have only had to replace an entire ink system to include, the Ink Tube Assmbly, The Ink Tanks, and the Purge Unit and Printhead, a few times but each time I had to do it, was because of Generic Inks ruining everything. Again, I don't know how or why it is so bad, but I know you're playing with fire if you're using Generic Ink.
