Yellow line when scanning to PDF

Hi my customer has a Canon 2545I, when they scan to email using 8.5X11 ADF, scanned PDF images appear with a yellow line from left to right across. Please let me know if anyone has seen this before.
    Thank you in advance,

    Sincerely

    Bruno.

    first thing did you:

CLEAN the scan glass and optics?
    run scanner calibrations?

    exactly WHAT HAS BEEN DONE?

      Yup.
Cleaning the optics would be a good place to start.
A sample would be nice too. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Thanks for the reply,
I have cleaned the optics, did not think to recalibrate scanner.
If problem still persists I will upload sample.

Re: Yellow line when scanning to PDF

Hi, Thank you everyone for your help I returned to the customer 2 1/2 weeks ago and everything seems to be working good have not heard back from them. I wanted to give it a couple of weeks before I replied to this thread. There was a small piece of fluff that I did not see, also cleaned the optics again and recalibrated seems to be working fine for now.
Again thank you for all your help very much appreciated
