It's odd that you still have the error AFTER swapping in a new ITB assembly.
In that case I'd be looking at either the cleaning assembly...a new blade can slow the belt down til it's been bedded in properly.
I'm assuming that you cleared the error in service mode?
Failing all that you may have to look at the ITB drive motor....the white patch is not only read but it's also timed....if it it takes the first reading at home position, the DC knows how long it should take for the next pass over the HP sensor...if it takes to long you'll get the HP error(E070)....good luck. -
thanks for the reply guys.the itb get back to its position then it throws the code when it reach the position.can i remove the black thing that blocks the hp sensor?what is the latest firmware you are using?soo that i can request it in canon.please...

When that black guide is inside the belt IN MOST CASES it causes the belt to rub against the steel plate that sits below the itb cleaning assembly and it can slow the belt down,or, in some cases can tear the belt.Comment

thanks oze ill check the black guid in all 3100 itb assy to prevent the damage.im not so trained in this machine im most familiar in 3200 series. 3100 is times 2 harder to do than 3200.thank oze.there is no glory without sacrificeComment
