Canon 8095 Scanning

Changed the adf, and now its scanning at a4, and not letter portrait. i adjusted the sensor on the bottom of the adf. is there a setting program wise, or in the classic mode to adjust?? if i scan landscape it scan letter format only in portrait is scan like an A4 size letter so it throws all scan off.

Anyone have an idea?? Possible bad adf?? there is a sensor which can be adjusted might be bad?? seems to be working in landscape mode.

Try calibrating the ADF width sensors in service mode.

do you know where is that in the service manual??? i know there is two parts to the service manual. one for main unit and one for the IMAGE READER as its so called, but where would the calibration sequence be located.

i might be reading to hard and not seeing it.

No, I don't as I know how to do that without looking. Go to service mode>feeder>function. There should be 4 adjustments, A4, A5R, LTR,LTRR if memory serves. Move the guide to the appropriate position and highlight the corresponding paper size. This may solve your issue.

Great ill try that, if i recall i did not see a slider option to pick paper type, but ill try this method.

Configuration in service mode. Can't remember off the top of my head. Can set to Inch ,AB or both if I remember correctly
