This version can only doawnloaded directly on the device, go to the firmware update menu, select special version and type this values:
Registration ID: 00006721
Password: 43149128

I try to looking for the firmware update menu as mentioned.
But all I have is this screen or the screen at the copier both have NO Special Firmware for me to input the password.
Can you please provide further guidance ? Thank you.

Hi,
Canon recommend the following actions for MFD’s that support only SMB v1 such as iRADV C52XX:
Request the customer to use either WebDav or FTP instead of SMB v1 for scan to folder functionality

When this is not possible or acceptable, update the device with special firmware 54.58 that adds support forSMB v2 and v3.

I have a few Canon C5235i, I would like to know how to check the SMB version supported by those machine.
Can anyone guide me on this ?

And does it possible to upgrade it to support SMBv2 or above ? and How to do it ?
