Which SMB version support by Canon C5200 series.

I have a few Canon C5235i, I would like to know how to check the SMB version supported by those machine.
Can anyone guide me on this ?

And does it possible to upgrade it to support SMBv2 or above ? and How to do it ?

    Hi,
    Canon
Request the customer to use either WebDav or FTP instead of SMB v1 for scan to folder functionality

When this is not possible or acceptable, update the device with special firmware
54.58 that adds support forSMB v2 and v3.

    see attached pdf

This version can only doawnloaded directly on the device, go to the firmware update menu, select special version and type this values:
        Registration ID: 00006721
        Password: 43149128

System software cannot be installed via the RUI.

            1. Via Settings/Registration --> but only standard version and updates
            2. Via Service mode --> Standard and Special version, also Downgrade possible.

Found the firmware updater at service mode.

              But when I input
              Registration ID: 00006721
              Password: 43149128

it give me error "Failed to retrive information of special firmware Check the registration ID and Password".

I double check again the paper service bulletin posted is for C5235 my copier is C5235i (with a "i") does it using different firmware from the one without "i" ?

Tested here with my 5235i and it works.
if you make a communicationstest, you get an error or ok?
if you get an error, check the logs.

this id and password is for all 52XX with and without "i"

Tested the Commmunication Test. It shows all OK!
But when I try the Registration ID and Password for like 10 times. It always show "Registration ID and Password ERROP"

I have attached the CDS server hyperlink address. Any help will be much appreciated.

did you put zeroes in ID? it must be 00006721 and not 6721

                    it is a common mistake

No, for the 42XX you have another password:
