    Canon IR3380iADV Won't Boot

    Hello,
    A customer invited me to his IR3380i that cannot complete booting process.
    After Power-On, the sound that comes show progress in power cycle. But all I see is the bar that shows the progress stops about 3/4 to completion on the control panel.
    According to him, this happened after power outage. I removed and reseated the DIMMs, replaced the hard disk, I changed the cable that connects to the reader control PCB, all to no avail.
    Is anyone familiar with this kind of problem and what was the solution?
    I'll be grateful for your kind suggestions. Thanks in advance

      After you replaced the HDD did you reinstall the system software?

      Canon's boot up from the hard disk similar to a Windows PC, if this software is corrupt the machine wont boot up.

          Yes, I did that but the progress bar still stuck, so booting could not continue.

              Try to replace the DIMMS.Both at the same time.
