We need for info in order to help.
    1. Can you post a sample of the print quality issue?
    2. What is the error code?

Start with the most simple thing:

        Clean the laser slit glass!

Open the front door, you should find a long plastic tool attached. It has a small cleaning pad on one end. Now look at the area around waster toner box, you should be able to see 4 identical holes (shaped a bit like the RJ45 female network connnector.) With the cleaning pad facing down, insert the plastic tool through these holes and push it slowly all the way to the end, pull it out again. Repeat, and repeat for all 4 holes.

This will clean the glass the lasers fires through - dirt/dust sitting the glass will cause stripes and blurred prints.
