I would do a developing change plus clean sensors.
But try the stir first, just have a bottle of starter with you just in case.
Also check your density reference levels. -
Hi mate,
Firstly that code points to magenta not yellow. usually with that code its because the atr sensor gets dirty/soiled. how old are the devs and drum? check what colour is soiling the atr, that will be the colour in question that has the issue. devs on these machines last between 40 - 60 k. do not push em past that. devs stirs do nothing on these machines. 9 times out of ten its cause the devs are old.
Let me know....Comment

Whoa
dj zilla,
Though you are correct about the ATR sensor being soil buy any color, Y.M.C.K, especially when toner starts to spread inside of the machine because bad or weak starter. In my TRG (manual).
The order is for the subcode.
Y. 01xx
M. 02xx
C. 03xx
K. 04xx
The E20-0181 refers to the color yellow (01) and the (81) refer to the ATR sensor being soiled or faulty. This has been the order for all canon color models from CLC's to IRC's.Comment

On all Canon colour machines the subcode of E020-E025 errors begin with the colour at fault.Comment
