IR ADV C 52XX colour imbalance issue

    [CQ] IR ADV C 52XX colour imbalance issue

    Dear Team ,

    I have a colour imbalance issue with IRADV C 5240 . When we print the colours on front side is much solid than rear side ( if we hold the paper on long edge feed direction the top areas are colour consistency issue and bottom areas are seems to be ok ),


    Actions taken so far:
    Replaced the entire I.T.B assembly with no result.
    clean all developers with no result.
    clean transfer roller with no result.
    replaced the secondary transfer roller
    cleaned the LSU projection glasses
    4 primary transfer, roller drive roller 2nd transfer inner & roller idler .

    could you please help me out from this issue .

      what are the counts on toners/drums/dev units?
      are they genuine OEM canon product or 3rd party?
      did you run the color calibration and registration adjustments?
      how did you clean the dev units?
      could they have power issues?
      what is operating environment like?
      what paper is being used and is it properly defined for size/weight/type?
      did you pull all consumables and clean all HVT contacts?

      so many unanswered questions.

          i would say inherent flaw - out of the box 50xx 52xx always cyan would be weak either towards the back of front never consistent
          only thing you havent doen is change both lasers?

              hi,

              looks like a transfer issue, you said you changed the secondary transfer roller, but did you replace the compression springs? If i remember there was a bulletin about it on SIMS, white flecks, especially on heavier media, change the springs and roller and it went away. hope that helps
