Canon ir 105 unit 1 jam

Hi

Unit 1 on my machine only pulls half way out. The smallest inner rail will not extend.Therefore clearing paper jams in the fuser unit is impossible. Has anyone ever encounted a similar problem if so, what are your suggestions to resolving this. Thanks guys

What do you mean?
The fixing feeder ass'y doesn't slide out completely?
I had the same problem once with a 105. The rails were busted.. Its not hard to get out, a bit challenging. I use my screwdriver,kind of stuck in between the rail, if you notice there are ball bearing inside the rail on a track like thing, once the ball bearing pop out, it makes it hard to slide in and out. The rail however, i had to replace. you'll figure it out. Goodluck!
