    Canon d661 install?

I have a Canon Imageclass D661 which I have always used as a copier but now want to use as a printer. I have the USB cable to connect it. But when I try to install the printer, there is no D661 in the Canon choices on the 'install wizard'. I can find the drivers on line, but I'm at a loss as to how to install/connect my printer. Any help would be appreciated.

      Canon d661

Thank you for the link, but it only gives me the drivers. What I'm stuck with is, during the installation wizard, there is no choice for canon, d661. So how do I proceed from there?

Unzip the file (Run) save it in a folder, remember where you save it, when your at the point of choosing a driver, there should been a option called (Have Disk), browse for that folder with the that file you saved, select the folder or file for winXP, Vista, select ok, There should be a list of drivers for most Imageclass printers, D661 should be there.

Since it is USB, load driver before connecting cable. If all else fails, use the iR1300 series driver.
