    Double Image in Copies

    Hello,
I have been working on a Canon IR C5235i. Copies appear with ghost images. After all efforts and changing developers ITB, drums and toners, I still have the same result of ghost behind the image. Could someone suggest what more I should try? Thanks I'm advance.
    Attached are copies.

hello in the first image you sent, the ghost image is not displayed well.
reviewing the second image you can visualize a little image with moved colors as if there were no good color registration

Enter the service mode of Canon C5235
        1. SETTING REGISTRATION 28 SETTING REGISTRATION
        2. MODE LIST - COPY - TEST - PG: 6 and OK press START BUTTON
        3. MODE LIST - COPY - TEST - PG: 10 and OK press START BUTTON.

Send picture of test 6 and test 10 to see if it is a problem of transfer unit or drum unit

One question if you changed the ITB, you mean the transfer unit or the transfer belt. What settings did you make in the service mode? after having changed the spare parts.
Usually when changing the transfer unit you have to make the settings related to itb for example: ITB - INIT and AT-IMG-X.
Enter the service mode: 1. MODE LIST - COPY - FUNCTION - MISC-P - ITB-INIT and select OK
          2. MODE LIST - COPIER - FUNCTION - MISC-P - AT-IMG-X and select OK.

I'm a bit far from the machine. I'll get to work on that and get back asap.

Did you replace the ITB unit with a new or used one?

If as suggested doesnt work try a DC-CON clear.

Thanks Phil, the drum was OEM. I'll find out the count on the fuser and get back to you. The fuser appeared so new.

It wasn't a new one but a farely used working one.

As been said i see no ghosting but a color registration issue. Have you cleaned/checked the patch sensor windows?

                        Registration out?

try to clean the patch sensors and do a auto color mismatch adjustment.

                            This could be the cause.

99% of colour registration issues on Canon are caused by the ITB/Transfer unit.

Remove the belt from the ITB thoroughly clean the rubber drive roller & the inside of the belt, refit & test again.
