Canon copier hard disk

Dear all,
how can I find out the serial number of a hard disk in a Canon copier using a software (SNMP....) or something similar. Until now we have to open the machine physically in order to get the serial number which takes a lot of time. We want to find an easyer way - is there any posibility?

Because i have to report them to my manager.
Aprox. 10 copiers/day.

you could use remote operator software!
