[Misc] Canon IRC2220

Hello All

The touch panel on this machine was not working properly. If you touched the Copy icon it would take forever to respond, and sometimes didn't do anything. If you tried to touch any other icon on the panel there was little or no response, so I changed the Touch Panel itself. The machine still does the same thing..............little or no response from the touch panel. The machine still prints O.K. but nothing through the Touch Panel. Any ideas?????????????

There is a bulletin on this. The control panel CPU is/is failing & needs to be replaced. See attached pdf.

try updating the firmware. if still the same, format the hard drive and do the firmware. if still the same replace the hard drive

CPU failure very common on this model
