no add toner warning on ir3300i

I have problem on my ir3300i.
There is no add toner warning on the screen. But directly to no toner.

On the reference manual, it said that there is add toner warning, when this warning occur, we still can print around 300 pages, then after that no toner will occur.

Is there problem with the sensor?. I already clean the sensor, and put it back. But, still happen.

    thanks

no add toner warning on ir3300i

    Hi madu132.
    From service manual:
If the message is not present, whether it is useful to check up the sensor works and a correctness of connection of the sensor. Sensor work can be heard - it at work should publish weak peep. Also it is possible to take advantage of service mode:
    COPIER>I/O>DCON
P008-0 bit (extreme on the right) S1, toner level detection signal (1:toner present).
    Good luck.
Hardworking people are not present. Simply many it is boring to idle.

Victor has provided you with excellent info. Piezoelectric sensor can be heard (by some people, not me) as a high pitched ringing in your ears. Physical contact to the sensor surface stops the sound.

Most machines that use piezo sensors also have some mechanism to clean off the surface occasionally, so that you don't get a hardened cap of toner over the sensor surface. Often cleaning off the sensor surface, and/or replacing the wiping mylar is all it takes to fix this problem. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
