Can anyone tell me how you can change the SMTP Port on a Canon IRC 3170? Have a customer that has changed the SMPT port on his exchange from 25 to 587.

I don't know much about this Canon, but I would start at the web interface (if it has one). =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

1. Press Additional Functions, 2 and 8 at the same time, and then Additional Functions again.
2. Press Additional Functions and then press 2. This will put you in Service Mode Level 2.
3. Select Copier, Option, Body
The configurable ports will be listed as follows:
SMTPTXPN: SMTP TX Port No. (Default = 25).
SMTPRXPN: SMTP RX Port No. (Default = 25).
POP3PN: POP3 RX Port No. (Default = 110).
Acceptable values are 0 to 65535, in increments of 1Comment
