Canon IR ADV. 6255 doc. feeder hinges

    Hey Folks,
Let me throw this out there..Only when using doc. feeder, on top trail edge of copy I get a littly shading, and copier does call to "clean dirty slit glass", after thinking , hard and long it came to me, the doc. feeder hinges, or rear hinge. I went back today to see if I could adjust the height, as I did eyeball it out, and feeder isnt sitting proper on the glass. I didn't have any luck, to get it to adjust properly, anyone else have this issue, on this model?..
Also, would anyone be able to help me out the part #, for the hinge?
    Thanks..
    Jaime

The ira 62xx series has a G1 colour image reader
    FC8-5778-000 right hinge
    FC8-5777-000 left hinge

But I've never had to replace the df hinges on this model they are heavy duty if the lid isn't slamming down or twisted hinge

before you replace hinges (Ive never had to that on this model either) Check that the white roller over the stream reader glass is seated properly. I have seen sometimes it can get pushed up into the frame and doesn't sit properly causing the problem you describe.
