Scanner hardware problem.
Exxx = Internal scanner error.
Turn the power OFF, and restart the scanner.
Ifthis does not solve the problem, make a noteof the error code, and contact your Canonservice representative.
If a communication error occurs between the motor or sensor and PCB, an error mes- sage and code “Exxx” appears.
If it appears, reset the main body and computer power. If the message still appears, check the error code, and then check the connection of the related part, and if it is faulty, correct it.
If there is no problem with connections,
replace the related part.
For motors, check the connected drive transmission parts and operation check sensor as well.
