Canon iR2022 password problem help please:(

    Hi All!
    I have a Canon copier scanner iR2022
I have added a user ID without a password from the user interface and saved it..but then the copier didn't accept the user id I added and it's stuck asking for a user name and password from the control panel and from the pc user interface and I can't move anything inside..please help me! is there any reset to factory settings or administrator mode or service mode or so?
    Please help!
    Thank you in advance

service mode Copier>Function>Clear>pwd-clr then go to additional functions and try to reset m/c. not much into these m/c now.

After you made the changeswith the RUI, did you turn the copier off then back on? Sometimes you have to do this for some setting to take effect.

i dont have 2022 machine but maybe it's like 2020? if so, you can go to service mode by (pressing additional function (*) then press 2 then press 8 then press additional function again) then move the arrow to CLEAR menu and select PWD clear or if you want just hit Clear all.

Some small machine you can go to service mode by hitting ( * and #).

You dont need and engineer to do that like other said.
