[CQ] IR2318 print quality

I have Canon IR2318. The printed paper background is not white. Tonner applied to the whole page and the background looks gray. attached here sample image.

I have changed new drum and DC blade also.
Kindly advice.

were they NEW OEM?

if yes.. change developer..

Drum & DC blade New OEM installed.

If you fitted a drum and dcb. It will not be oem as they come as a drum unit try fitting a oem drum unit note non oem parts ie made in China are rubbish buy cheap pay twice.

It's easy.
Do you have background before replacement of drum and drum cleaning blade?
1. No
Trash the cheep Chinese garbage. Fit new OEM parts. Do adjustments as per Service manual.
2. Yes
Change the developer. Do adjustments as per Service manual.
