It all started when I reset the maintenance tank, 3 days went by giving a warning during each print, the machine stopped and stayed 5 minutes making noise, "ERROR 2F71" I researched what this code was and found out what about the cartridges on the left side (colored), I changed the chips of the three anyway the error continued, I removed my head to clean the contacts, everything was clean test print 100%, I managed to do a test of the colors and was without any failure, but now when you turn on the printer it does the procedure of loading the ink when you change your head and then fall into error 2f71, what you need to turn off and on, and start all over again load the inks of the error just shutting down to fall back into the error cycle, something different I got today was to enter in SERICE MODE, which gives you the ability to print all tests, it's 100% head but you can't accept printing from the computer

Since day one I use bulk with pigmented ink, never failed the test print, all cleaning ink goes out of the printer. What can be a sensor?Comment

Re: Canon IPF 770 error 2F71
BUT is it genuine OEM Canon ink.
Just because you go 95mph in a school zone and haven't got caught YET doesn't mean you won't get caught.

Hey Phil, I'm having the same issue. We've been using edible ink in our Canon for about three years now and just started getting this error. think we're screwed? We print wide format wafer paper.Comment

what is the life on the PH's?
when you say you 're-chipped' WHERE are you getting the chips?
do you have the service manual?
are you trained on this unit?

Re: Canon IPF 770 error 2F71
What do you do with these prints? Cake tops? Other edible art? Just curious. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
