    Adv C2030 image offset

See attached images, color is shifting. So far we have:

    Updated firmware
Cleared DC con, entered door specs
    Tried different laser assy
    Tried different DC con.
    Cleaned itb contacts
    Tried different ITB

Thanks in advance for any other suggestions?

did you try ACC before replacing any parts?

    did you clean any sensors?

did you try adjusting the laser ?

the door specs might be off due to age on drums and other service parts.

are they using crap toner and supplies?

so a USED ITB? did you clean the sensors first?

        Common issue with this model.

Clean the patch sensors & replace any drum @ or near 100% life & replace the ITB if also @ or near life (fit new not used)

Clean the laser glass with the tool or remove the laser to clean fully.

        Finally run gradation adjust.

DC-CON clear can make the issue worse if you run this with worn units.

Totally agree, as we know preventative maintenance is key.

All the drums are all below 80%, laser was removed and cleaned fully before trying another laser unit. OEM toner is installed. We actually took this call over from another technician so we are late to the game and can't say with 100% certainty what all was done. Trying to upgrade them out of this copier, worst model ever made, next to the C3170

These models are ok not as bad as the 3170.

                Fit a NEW ITB.

Wow why did you start with replacing laser & CD con and clearing.

Common problem full service and replacement of new life parts with new not used with may need replacing setup colour mismatch and auto grad

This tech pub helped me with the same problem. It's a PIA to do, but it does work if the drums aren't shot.

Upgrade the firmware, clean the patch reader and replace the drums. Period.
