[Misc] Touch Screen issues with IR4525iii

I have recalibrated the touch screen on this machine (the touch icons were all over the place and glitching when pressing) but the issue keeps on reocurring. I have done a firmware update - no fix. Are there any other updates available as i think this is a software issue??
    Thanks

I believe the CPU board in panel is a problem on that series

If the machine can print & the hard keys work sounds like you have a failing touch pad so either clean or replace it.

We have a few issues like this usually down to customers "sanitising" the screen.

frankly you should get a manual for the machine if you plan on working on it anymore.

per forum rules all manual requests are to be made in this forum -----> https://www.copytechnet.com/forums/s...nual-requests/

That figures, as the glitch was reported around August time. Another tech stated that this version of machine has a temperamental CPU board?? (FM1-X896-000) so a bit stuck as to where to start. The touch pad check is obviously the most cost effective option to start with

Before ordering any parts I would strip the panel down & clean the touch pad contacts often that is all that is required.
