    Cannon 2200 Imagerunner HDD failure

I have a Canon 2200 Image Runner copier. I know its a bit old, but its what I have. Today I received an error code E602-0001. From what I have found this means a bad hard drive. I would like to find out if there is a way to fix my issue. I can buy a new drive, but is there system software that needs to be installed. If so, is there some place I can obtain a copy to fix my broken system?

You can try running disk check on the drive and see what happens. With the machine OFF, press and hold down the 1 and 9 keys down, turn the machine ON and continue holding the keys down until the screen changes to a blinking cursor. Go to breakfast, lunch, or go home and let it run. It will try and repair bad sectors if it can. If it can't then you need a new hard drive.

u must try upgrade or rewrite your hdd/system

        RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

download this file and upgrade or rewrite your copier's hdd.

this file is not include SST. u can download any 3.xx SST and install this system.
