[Error Code] Error 001-000 Canon 5045

Hello,

I have problem with canon 5045, error code E001-000.
The steps i took:

Change fuser
Change DC controler
Change Main 1 controler
Change High-voltage PCB
Change Shooter
Change complete unit IBT
Change complete drums and developers unit

And still didnt fix problem

Why did you replace these items "Change Shooter, Change complete unit IBT, Change complete drums and developers unit"

And what is the "shooter"?

Try updating the firmware.

That is step in service manual

Replace the Fixing Shutter Unit Ibt and drums unit i replaced because i was desperate. I tried that but still didnt fix the problem

The problem will be the film assy or shutter don't know why you would of replaced the other parts the fuser unit was it new you said shooter did you mean shutter it would of been on the fuser that you already replaced try replacing new oem fuser film assy and then clear in service if that doesn't work replace the shutter it's usually the film assy are you trained. Also as copier tech adviced update system software

the 'shotgun' repair approach is silly.. time consuming and wastes good money

As you may know, the code is for an excessive temperature reading of main thermistors. If it happens in front of you do you feel any heat in the fuser assembly or could it be a false code due to bad fixing film assembly? You could also check the fuser temp under Display in Service Mode. Reset the error and turn off mfp. Then open the side door, go into service mode under Display and watch the fixing temperature as you close the door. I see you said you replaced it but still could be another bad one. And don't forget that you need to reset that error every single time it is thrown. Otherwise it should be cooling fan or shutter issue.
Also, I would check the Error log to see if there isn't some other underlying error there prior to seeing the E001.

Wow E001 After a new fuser. Try a new Fixing drive or at least the updated drive gear shaft. There was a tech pub on this and I updated several to the new shaft that drives the fuser unit. The shaft and bearing fit will fail and cause slippage. C3480 will fail the same way with intermittent e001. Normally around 1 million clicks.
