[Misc] Strange Symptoms with CLC 3220

Hello everybody, i need your help.

my copier have strange symptoms.
It started with the fact that double-sided copying via the ADF no longer worked. As soon as the copier started copying, it went into error and the touch panel was empty. One-sided copies still worked. Likewise, scanning and printing from the PC. Now you can neither copy from the glass nor print. Every time the copier starts, it stops and the touch panel is then empty. You can see the backlight, but it no longer reacts to touch or buttons.

any ideas?

Reseat the memory DIMMs, the boot ROM, and the control panel connectors.

When the HDD is failing you get weird issues like this.

Try formatting the HDD then reloading the SSW using the SST.

before reformat, what must i save before from the copier or print out?

i have no adressbook...

Well only the ip address but thats simple to re enter.

I mean would i lost german language in panel? mmi settings or other setting inside the copier? where can i get the german language file for downloading to the copier?

When you reinstall the SSW you can set the German language again.

but would this not need german language files in sst? if i remember right i have only english language files.

Yes you need to have the German language installed in the SST first.

However surely English is good enough on a down machine!?
