Canon Advanced IR2030i E602-1112 error

Hello,

When my client send a print to his Canon he's got this error: "E602-1112"
After a reboot the Canon begins to print.
These steps always repeat....
I read about a HDD failure.
What steps i have to follow to resolve this issue.
PS Firmware isn't available anymore on the Canon website.

You may need SST (Service Support Tool) to install firmware. Firmware is still available to dealers. Here is what manual says for the error: 1. Turn OFF and then ON the main power 2. Press (user mode key) => (2, 8) => (user mode key),Select the following to enter 2: [1]:CHK-TYPE = 2, and select and execute the following: [2]:HD-CHECK = 1; and then turn OFF and ON the power. 3. Erase partition (all the partition data is erased) Press (user mode key) => (2, 8) => (user mode key),Select the following to enter 2: [1]:CHK-TYPE = 2, and select and execute the following: [3]:HD-CLEAR = 1, and then turn OFF and ON the power. 4. Erase all partitions that can be initialized (all of erasable partition data is erased) Press (user mode key) => (2, 8) => (user mode key),Select the following to enter 0: [1]:CHK-TYPE = 0, and select and execute the following: [3]:HD-CLEAR = 1, and then turn OFF and On the power. 5. Start in safe mode to format the HDD (all the data in the HDD is erased

Sounds like the HDD is failing. Replace with an identical model & reload the SSW.

That's exactly the problem, i can't download the FW anymore for this model.
It isn't available anymore on their website.
Somebody who's can provide me the latest FW please?

Is there also the SST softw included + the FW upgrade procedure for this machine?

Can if use any type of 2.5" HDD for this copier?
If not, what HDD do i have to order?

Hi,

Yes we provide the complete package of firmware, SST & service manual.

You can not fit any HDD is has to be purchased from Canon.

However, there is a work around, take off the old one & order the identical make/model from eBay.
