Hello Copytechnet Comrades,
Having already done my due-diligence and fleshed out (current /or working) links/info on threads here, I figured I would just ask, since my searches have returned naught...
THE SITUATION
Not new to printer repair in any sense, nor do I hold credentialing for CUSA, or certified to DX/RX CANON-- I know a few of you are though, thus I figured I'd give this a shot.
I appreciate everything and expect nothing, so thank-you in advance.
I value each of your issuances of time, effort, and support. I look forward to any replies which may aide me in bringing our trusty IR back into operation.
Cheers!

THE SITUATION
I have a refurb WD800JB : FM3-5556 (B6) to replace a failed HDD of the exact kind and numbering, on our 3080 here at the shop. I (mistakenly) assumed in being told it would arrive, "turn-key", that this would be the simple, less time-consuming act of PnP; it turns out not.
THE REQUEST
THE REQUEST
- [*=1]^ above in consideration, I'd like to either:
- Be verified that my "SSTv475En_Setup.exe" source is a sufficient/supported versioning for doing such acts.
/or/
- Get my hands on [whatever] version of the SST is appropriate to write-to and provision the ALL_HDF to the drive. I am assuming if not 4.75, then 4.52Ec ?
- [*=1]I also humbly request the firmware file/files for this particular unit, if available. I am informed that the 28XX series and 30XX series use the same set of binaries? You all probably know better than I, what I need, thus why I am here.
