[Dead] Canon ir c4080 panel dead, power led ON, imagePASS dead

Hello,

I have a big problem with my canon ir c4080, the machine was in normal operation and suddenly it turned off, when I turned it on again I found a dead panel (not even the keys work) and the imagePASS does not turn on either (it does not receive a boot signal ).

The POWER led on the panel is on and the machine performs the complete preheating cycle.

I tested the imagePASS and the panel on another machine and they worked correctly, on this machine I have checked all the connection cards, change RAM memory, BootROM and all the cards associated with the PCB. Also replace primary and secondary source, nothing has worked.

I need tout help, sorry for muy terrible english. Thanks un advanced

Hello ,

it is a main controller issue. if the issue still occurs again you will need to reinstall the firmware

just change the big main board , but you must keep the small boards from the old one .
