Hi, I was testing a C3530i today to make sure the wireless was working ok, but when i try press select an access point the machine came back with Access Points not found. When I enter SSID manually it connected by gave a 169.0.0.0 IP range. Wireless Information showed MAC address with all Zeros and shows the card as INACTIVE. Not sure if the wireless adaptor is faulty or there is a step I haven't turned on or checked. Can anyone offer any advice or a fix?? Cheers H

Make sure your wireless LAN PCB is on;
Service Mode Level 2 >Copier > Option > Network >WLAN-USE > set to 1 and cycle machine -
I'm testing setting on a c255i I have in my home office. When I set to zero the wired/wireless option completely disappears. Do you know what option it would have been set to, to block all WiFi signals from appearing when you select access point? Just trying to replace query before tmw. Cheers HComment

For wireless only make sure only wireless Lan is selected in Settings/Registration > Preferences > Network > Select Interface = Wireless Lan
