* If the symptom still occurs, replace the DC controller PCB 1-1 with a new one ,NOTE: Don't restore after replacement, directly print before doing anything.

Hello my friend,


I did everything you said and tried the cards from a different machine.
I checked the cables. The problem remained the same.
this machine was working properly.
After giving E020 error, technician changed starter, then black unit started to make gray fog all the time.
The strange thing is that I tried with different developer units, it did not improve.
I don't know what to do anymore.

I dont know why you havent specified what happened from the beginning.

The problem is with some setting probably.

IMP:did the Developing unit black got initialize after you changed the starter ?

I need you to check me some values please .

Copier->Display->Dens->Dens-K
Copier->adjust->Dens->HLMT-PTK
Copier->adjust->dens->P-tg-k

there is no correct value , but depending on the readings we will do some adjustments and hopefully fix the issue

Is the Starter you used OEM ?

the K value is very low.

I want to make sure that the black patch sensor is cleaned . then perform Copier->Function->Misc-p->PT-LPADJ . then test

If still the same better put the other developing unit (if it is in good condition) and perform PT-LPADJ on it and test . if issue is solved just return the old one and work normally.

If still the same and the Dens-K is still -% increase P-TG-K value by 10 and test.
