    Canon iR-Adv c5235a - Toner Drag Marks

Does anyone have an idea why this Canon iR-Adv c5235a seem to randomly cause drag lines on prints?

In the image I've uploaded, the images on the sheet are using mostly cyan and because that's the active drum being used, drag marks don't necessarily come off the cyan drum. If I was printing mostly black or all black, the other three colors will randomly do this instead. It seems to only do this when there is a pause for adjustment. Otherwise, the machine is running pretty good. The ITB Cleaning Unit is fairly new.

    Thanks!

I would question the ITB cleaning. Make sure the gear that turns the auger is matched up with the gear that drives it. It's right behind the small screw you take out to remove the cleaning unit. If the gears are not meshing reform the bracket you put the screw in to tighten up the gap.

Revisiting this and to somewhat resolve... There isn't anything loose with the Cleaning Unit. There is no build-up of waste toner in the unit and after a cleaning of the blade things work well. However, once the unit experiences a jam, that cleaning goes bad. So if I keep maintaining it, there isn't a problem.

Basically time for a new Cleaning Unit!
