    IR 1025 Black line

    Working on an old IR1025 and have been forever but never seen a problem like this.

    Black bar in cross feed direction that shows up on 10% of copies made.

    I am waiting on a drum unit to come in to see if that helps but have never

    seen a drum on one of these do that.

    Any old timers ever seen this?1025problem.jpg

      I think the drum will fix that.

          Depends on the copy count maybe the dv unit

              This line is definitely visible if you look at the drum, charge roller or even fuser.

                  It's in the cross feed direction. I'd replace drum. Could be dv but less likely.

                      As this is a SEF model & the line is cross feed its not your typical drum/blade issue.

                          Looks like may be a cracked bushing on dev unit (drum to sleeve spacer). the line occurs when the mag roller arcs to the drum. Replacing drum and developer unit would resolve it.
