[Misc] Fitting a C256i black drum to a C350i

Hi all,

Is it possible to fit a C256i (C-EXV-55) black drum to a C350i (C-EXV 47) they look the same but have different part numbers etc?

I only ask as I need to replace one on a C350i but only have a C256i drum unit.

If the drum physically fits in the machine but just displays 'incorrect drum' etc I wonder if by swapping over the chip it would work.
