    Lines on print

    Test prints are attached.

I'm troubleshooting this Canon iR-ADV C5560i and I cannot seem to find the cause of the vertical lines that appears on every colored test prints I produce.

    I already checked/isolated/cleaned the following:
    - ITB/ITB cleaner Assy.
    - Drum units
    - PCR
    - Developing Assy.
    - 2nd Transfer roller
    - Laser unit

I'm thinking the drums units needs replacement but for now I'm troubleshooting the issue without changing any new parts.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Try running single color copies of each color. You may be able to isolate it to the drums

Tried printing PG=5 test print on all colors. All have lines on print. I tried isolating the imaging unit itself from a good machine, but the lines are still there.

Check your K drum and PCR.

If all else fails read the Service Manual!

If that fails, meet me at the pub and we will discuss it.

indeed the drums seem worn, a C55xx drum is good for 400,000 to 480,000 copies of the originals. Generic 280,000 copies
