Unable to use certain parts of control panel DXC3725i

I'm trying to help another tech with this situation. The start, counter, home, settings reg, scan and send shortcut are all inactive and appear shaded as though disabled by design. Default screen is copy and most settings such as paper selection work. Machine will go into service mode and print pg pages so panel is working in the background, just not for MFP function.

No alarms or errors and machine is reporting to snapshot. Status shows no jobs in queue. No fax system. I don't think they have department IDs.

I don't know if we can browse to the web interface or get into download mode or print to the machine but I'm guessing yes. We ordered a hard drive but I'm wondering if there is a security feature turned on or something. One time the tech turned off the machine and restarted it with the network cable unplugged and was able to run one copy then the problem came back.

It's sounds like bad display pcb.
You can try to calibrate display first.
Service mode then eight time press no:5

    Also can be bad hdd.
    Practice makes perfect
If it ain't broke, don't fix it
A picture is worth a thousand words
If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself

Try updating the system software sounds like it has become corrupt.

The problem was the hard drive, we replaced it rather than try to resurrect it.

We weren't able to gather the dcm file because settings registration was not functional in the web interface or the device

          Thanks for the update.

Surprising the HDD failed so soon on a DX model.
