[Error Code] DRG2090 scanner - E851

Hi, a customer with a non contract DRG2090 scanner has an intermittent E851 error, which in the manual says CIS data error , scans can be fully black or blank. Firmware has been updated , but issue persists. Anyone seen this? Manual doesn't give much info. Tks
