    Recurring ATR error/Magenta Fogging(?)

I have a returned iR-ADV C5550 machine with Magenta Hopper issue from a warehouse office.

After cleaning the Hopper and the insides of the unit, I stumbled to a series of ATR errors (E020, EE025, E021) that is moving across the 4 colors. It's like moving from 1 color to another after resolving the error.

When I try to print a PG=6 test print, the output have Magenta on the entire paper, which it is not supposed to be doing at all. See attached for reference.

I already tried isolating the imaging unit, Primary Transfer Roller, and ITB assembly. Also tried disconnecting and connecting the ATR harness from the developer assembly every time but its not disappearing.

    Is it a grounding issue?

Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.

looks power damaged HVT 1 or 2 if consumables are OEM.
I have used Canon Imagerunner parts for sale. Most are floor model Color and / Advances Imagerunner with some 3025 3235 parts. Several intact machines being parted.

Already replaced HV Board (YMC). Still same error E020-02A9

DISPLAY-DENS on Service Mode is -8.50%. Total difference from other colors with +4.80, +2.30%, +4.90% on YCK respectively.

Also replaced harnesses and connectors. Error is still there.

What Hopper inside the unit did you clean? If it was a grounding issue the layer of toner would be very thick. Looks way over toned. Try a new Developer unit.

If all else fails read the Service Manual!

If that fails, meet me at the pub and we will discuss it.

Initial reported error was E021-0200 (Developer Motor-M), but due to the physical condition of the printer, we replaced it instead and resolve the issue in the office.

Initial error was resolved. Cleaned the insides underneath the main unit and laser unit assys and in the YMC charge/develop HV board as well.

After that, the disaster happens. But now only E020-02A9 is the only persistent error after every 1st print.

that is because the developer unit mixture is destroyed. So you have to put in a used or new dev unit. Run dev init with the toner removed. if you are a tech this is in the book.

Done replacing DEV-M and running INISET-M. It is switching from 02A9 and 0251 errors.
