Hi Guys,
this thing had me running nuts,
it was jamming (stopping) intermittently on longer runs. i switched the letter and legal paper in drawers 1 and 2, same thing.
the paper isn't folded, or crumpled. just laying flat in the 3 places when it stops.
and the image appears to be in the correct location on the ones that have transferred.
i noticed that the little plastic roller was missing on the post fuser paper sensor actuator, ? fuser delivery guide.
i replaced that and also the paper feed rollers. cleaned the vertical transport driven rollers, lubed the one that has a one was pin clutch, and blew out the various paper sensors. some i hope the air got to the right place.
same thing.
the service mode jam code is 0213 00. there were some 0205, and 0107 as well.
i also tried the bypass tray with the paper in the R position and it didn't jam.
then i decided to turn the letter size paper in drawer 1 to the R direction, and it didn't jam.
i have had this in various brands over the years, sometimes telling them to just load it that way. but i believe that they loose substantial ppm print speed in this configuration, so i hope to get to the bottom of this if possible.
if anyone has any recollection of this now, i guess older model, i would be so grateful.
thank you very much for any input of advice.
have a great Memorial holiday, Jim.
