    E025-001 IRA8095

Hi. I got a problem with ira8095 that it will come out the code of e025 every 3-4 days. Inside the buffer assy the toner always full and i need to throw some to get rid the code but the code came back after every few days. Anyone encounter this code?

    Title : E025-0001 Error Code

    Error :
E025-0001 Error Code is an over current of the Toner Feed Motor (M28).

    Workaround :
During the troubleshooting process the Toner Hopper, Toner Feed Motor (M28) and Main Driver PCB were all replaced.
Performing a part check on motor M28 came out ok.
The way to perform a part check is by going into Service Mode>Copier>Function>Part-Chk then set MTR to a 2 and highlighting MTR-ON and selecting the ok button.
The Buffer Unit auger was inspected and was spinning freely. Vacuuming out the Buffer unit also had no effect.
Replacing the Buffer Unit ultimately resolved the issue

The following image is of the Buffer Unit Part and Location in the Parts Manual.

Stupid question but did you check that the toner bottle is in properly? If not it could cause an e-025

Hi. The toner bottle inserted properly and it rotate smoothly i changed the new M28 motor on buffer unit. I checked and cleaned inside buffer unit there is no broken pin stuck. The E025 code still came out after 2 to 3 days.

Make sure the shutter on the bottom of the buffer assembly is pushed open properly when the dev is inserted. I've seen the plastic clips fall off and the shutter doesn't open and the buffer unit is packed. Dev full of toner and are it's stirring rods ok?(they break). Try another buffer unit(a used one out of any 6000,6200 will work in an 8000/8200 series also).
